Unique design of the Palestinian key of return, the symbol of Palestinians right of returns to their occupied homes and lands. After more than 7 decades of occupation, apartheid and ethnic cleansing, thousands of Palestinian refugees inside and outside Palestine still have their houses keys hoping that one day soon they’ll return to their occupied lands. Approximately 750,000 Palestinians were displaced and became refugees as a result of the 1948 Zionist war against Palestine supported by Britain which led to the founding of Israel. None of these displaced persons were ever allowed to return to the homes or communities from which they were displaced and the Palestinian refugee population has continued to grow in the time that has passed since 1948. Today there are more than 7 million Palestinian refugees scattered around the world. In a civilised society, if a crime is committed, its consequences must be reversed. The criminal should not be rewarded, and his crime should not be forgiven or even legitimised. The stolen property must be returned. Rights must be reinstated and reparation paid for material losses.
